Mr Scaraffiotti’s restaurant is situated in what used to be his family house until 1992. The story began in 1920 when his father came with his family from lake Orto in Piedmont ( Italy) to work in Val d’Isere..He never left. The famous ski race “La Scara.” is held every year in memory of his brother who died in an avalanche in 1978.
