Just Val d'Isere

Val d’Isere is to host the French Mountain Biking Championships from July 16th to 18th 2010. The top  French mountain bikers will be competing on the slopes of Val d’Isère.
Cross country, downhill, and trial competitions : Spectacular events, numerous displays and guaranteed thrills and spills !

Organised by Val d’Isere, and the Tourist office in Bonneval sur Arc; open to both men and women of all ages (although different start times may apply according to age) you can be timed for a friendly competition. On that day the pass is closed to cars. This event runs in  July, call the office tourism for the date and more information: 00 33 4 06 06 60.

Val d’Isere has special tracks divided in 3 colors. Green slopes: very easy and safe, Blue: well prepared, Red and Black: difficult on the Bellevarde area. There is however a bike park to try this activity in good conditions.
