The pilates  sessions take place in Ste Foy, Bourg Maurice and Val d’Isere. Group classes are held throughout the year at the studio in Ste Foy. Private sessions by appointment.
In the winter, classes are held in  the Oxygen centre in Val D’Isere . Private sessions can be organized at the English medical centre or at home.

MOUNTAINS EQUILIBRE came into being in 2000. Sarah Sissons  was originally an occupational therapist in a London Psychiatric hospital , she  has been working in the French alps for 20 years.  Her interest in personal well being  has led her to learn a variety of complementary therapies. These include reflexology sports massage and Pilates. The Pilates is now becoming the main part of her work.

As always Denise uses the very good Carita products for her treatments. It is a friendly and intimate beauty institut, Denise has such a good experience about all beauty treatments and you can have a chat about where to go walking as she is loves it.
In winter she will be back to the amazing Spa under the Hotel Lodge, on the main street.

The chef presents several specials every day as well as his traditional French menu, he uses only the best ingredients , being a professional of the fine, French cuisine, the puddings fresh from the pastry cook’s oven, are difficult to resist.

We liked the south facing bedrooms with a fantastic view, if you are tall, ask for 2 beds put together, they are a little longer.
Built in 1965, it is a typical example of the architecture of the time, there is a cosy sitting area with a friendly bar.
The location and the atmosphere make this hotel a very good value for money. From 132€ for a bedroom for 2 including breakfast.
