    Val d’Isere is known for its nightlife and no doubt there is something for you. There are of course the rowdy, beer swigging pubs but also some more intimate bars where you can have a civilised conversation with your friends.

      Near the post office, run by a friendly New Zealander, Phil. This bar/restaurant has no plasma screens "it's more social, people can talk". A place to meet French locals and young English people who are often working here for the season. A very good place to play pool or eat a good amburger. Opens at 16h30 until 1am. Live music on saturday, no happy hours

      This very well known bar, an icon in Val d'Isere was in need of a serious facelift. The new owners have spent some money to restore the inside and the atmosphere lost over the years. There is a VIP area, two bars, an inside smoking corner from where you can see the dance floor, good music and friendly staff from England.

It's a bar and a nightclub and now a place where you can have a light lunch. Design and modern decor. As early as 10.30 pm you can have a drink listening to groups and dance until the early hours of the morning. The best Dj's come and mix their music at the Doudoune.       Tel: +33(0)4 79 06 02 01 A bar and a restaurant, the place has been popular for a long time. You will find a lively atmosphere, friendly service and will be surprised by some original dishes. The crowd is a good mixture of locals and tourists. A good spring-board to start the night. HAPPY HOUR 4.30 to 7.30 pm. LARGE BEER 3€, SODA 2€.

      The place seems to attracts only British people. Live music until 2am every night. What can we say about the Saloon? Ha yes! Probably the cheapest place to get drunk. HAPPY HOUR 3PM to 5PM, 2 for one pints. From 8PM to 10 PM jugs of cocktail.

      On the Main street, easy to find, from 5pm until 2am. Not the cheapest bar maybe but you will find a very good music and DJ's, large sofas make this place comfortable to meet your friends.
