ABS AIRBAGS
Stay on top to stay alive
The Avalanche Airbag System has now 25 years of experience and has proven great efficiency in saving lives when skiers are caught in an avalanche. Statistics show that people are, on average, buried in just 1 metre of snow when the avalanche stops. It takes time to locate and dig out a skier. After 15 minutes the chances of survival are greatly reduced. So the best strategy is to minimize the burial depth as much as possible. The airbag, once deployed, increases the volume of the body with 170 litres of air, increasing the chances to stay on top of the snow. Last year alone 21 people used it in an avalanche and all of them survived. Prices start at 780€. ABS airbags have two parts, the base unit with contains the mechanism, and the bag you choose (15l, 18l, 30l.).
New: 1/A lighter bottle (280gr filled), 2/the Vario Free Ride Base on which you adapt the bag of your choice.
More info: www.abssystem.com
Sold at the same price: 730€ for the base + from 55€ (for a bag zipped on the base). It is essential to try the airbag before you leave the shop.

Jamie will follow your group with a state of the art professional camera and an array of lenses from 300mm super zoom to 8mm fisheye. That evening, or later in the week you will get the opportunity to view a slideshow of the best photographs of the day set to music.
There is no obligation to buy, but if you are impressed with the results, you can purchase the photos in digital form. You are then free to do what you like with them; they are of high enough quality to print at over 3 meters high (should you be sycophantic enough!) The slideshow to music will also be available to buy, which can be viewed on your computer, television or broadcast to the world on Youtube!
Santa Fe shop
In Sainte-Foy Village, on the road to Val d’Isere.

Easily recognisable with baskets, pottery, farmers tools and all sort of objects outside the shop. Nadine the owner is the third generation to look after the shop (her grand mother started it), after 21 years she still has the same passion and it shows. Every body has great fun discovering her choice of clothes, bags, tableware, glasses, pottery, a multitude of present for friends or yourself. We loved the very soft blanket for chair or sofa, the twisted decanter, the set of coloured glasses or the big fat hen. Fun, different and really good value.
