Jono from Banana bar,
Fraser from Dick’s tea bar, got together to create Fall Line.
With such a team, it might be a little wild occasionally.

“All of friends helped us in redecorating the place, we could not have done it without them” says Ben.

The result is amazing when you remember the old bar, there is a good “vibe”.

Opened in 1979 by Dick Yates-Smith it was THE place to have a drink. Sold in 1997 to Brown Rock then to Mark Warner and TUI, all tour operators, it lost its appeal becoming really “cheap”
The new owner, Whitecap Ski, a small company run by Seb Hall and Alex Fateh, 26 year old entrepreneurs is now in charge of the famous Dicks Tea Bar. They are rescuing this iconic bar, it takes time to attract back the crowd. Highly recommended. Open from 4pm to 5 am. More

Banana the well known place in Val d’Isere is not going to be open this season. A fire has destroyed the chalet on Sunday 27 th of November. Eric and Hamid are doing their best to start again next year. We wish them good luck, their place is going to be missed.

Near the SPAR supermarket, On the same spot, there is a restaurant and a bar underneath. It is a good place to start the evening, you can eat from 7 pm till late. You will feel welcome by a friendly efficient staff.
Prices: A meal with a drink cost around 35€, some dishes are surprisingly original. Cocktails around 8€, ask the frozen Margarita at 5€.
