Share an instructor
Not everybody wants to join a ski school group. It really makes sense to share a ski-instructor if you can find somebody of similar aptitude, you will be able to improve greatly. As well as lowering the cost, it is often more fun to ski with others.

I am an advanced beginner/early intermediate level learner. I started last year and did some private lessons in Austria. I can ski parallel on blues, green and easy reds, but I need to improve my comfort level. I have booked 2 days of private lessons ( 6 hrs each day – 9 to 12 and 1:30 to 4:30) on Dec 25 and 26 in Val d’Isere. I would love to share this with someone of a similar level (age range 20-35).
