On the main street, in the old village this sports shop has many interesting products, including airbags to rent for the day (not a gadget after a heavy fall). All products are neatly presented, the shop is not too big with an excellent selection. They have the exclusivity of the Black Diamond Telemark range. You will find a great choice of underwear and equipment for ski touring. If you are a cross country fanatic, this is the place to rent or to buy. There is a friendly and helpful team to assis t you. Alpine Experience Hors piste ski school headquarters are found here. There is a 25% discount if you book your equipment on line.

Opposite the bus station, Mountain Pro-shop is run by a friendly couple eager to help you find the right gear. A good place for boot fitting, touring skis, boots and all the paraphernalia to go with touring. They specialize in safety equipment: spades, Arva, ABS airbags, etc..It is possible to hire the airbags (20€/day). The clothes are more technical than fashionable. The Bureau des Guides de Val d’Isere has its headquarters at Mountain Pro-Shop. They hold the exclusivity for Blackcrows Skis (designed in Chamonix ) for deep powder conditions.
